Motor Vehicle Registration

 

You can renew your vehicle registration at the Victoria County Tax Office located at:

You can renew you vehicle registration online.
You will need :
1. Your current renewal notice.
2. Your Insurance policy #

Eligibility Requirements
  1. Vehicle owner must be a resident of VICTORIA county.
  2. Vehicle owner has an active email account.
  3. Vehicle has a current registration that will expire within the next 90 days, including 5 day grace period.
  4. Vehicle owner agrees to pay by Visa or MasterCard, and agrees to pay a $2.00 online service fee (non-refundable) and a $1.00 mail fee to cover the expense to mail the renewal sticker via the US Postal Service.
  1. Vehicle renewal notice does not contain "Vehicle Record Messages" indicating non-compliance with state law (e.g. emissions, scofflaw, etc.)
  2. Vehicle has current liability insurance as required by law in the state of Texas. The insurance covers a period of at least 30 consecutive days and is verifiable by telephone with a local or toll free number.
  3. Vehicle gross weight must be 54,999 pounds or less.

You can renew online at the Texas Dept. of Transportation website with a major credit card.

Texas Dept. of Transportation online services add a fee for processing and mailing your sticker.  You will be prompted to agree to the fee at the beginning of the process.
