What Court will hear my case?  Where is it?

That depends on which Court your Case was assigned. If you know the offense, offense date and birth date of the defendant, contact the Victoria County Clerk's Office.


How do I get my cash bond back?

You can come into the Victoria County Clerk's Office and fill out an application. Cash bond money is returned to the person who posted the cash bond and signed as surety on the bond form.


How do I get a background check?

The Victoria County Sheriff's Department can provide a complete background check. If the search is of Victoria County Court records only, then the Victoria County Clerk's Office may assist you.


Do I have a warrant? 

Contact the District Attorney's Office or the Victoria County Sheriff's Office.


Is this person in jail?  If so, when does he go to court?

Contact the Victoria County Sheriff's Office.
If he/she bonds out, the court date will be on the bond.


Do I need an attorney?  If so, can you recommend one?

I need a copy of my police report.

Police Reports are not filed with the Victoria County Clerk's office.
Contact the reporting law enforcement agency to obtain a copy.

Contact or visit your local branch of Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).

You can make the request for an attorney when you go before the Judge on your court date.

How do I get my record expunged (removed from the records / file)? 

To expunge a record you will need to make an application/petition with the
Victoria County District Clerk's Office.


How do I get an occupational drivers license and how much is it?

Contact the Victoria County Clerk's Office.

When is my court date and what time is it?

If it is the 1st appearance your bond has the date and time regarding when you need to appear. If you know your Cause #, the Victoria County Clerk's Office may assist.


Can you tell me my case / cause number?

If you have the offense, offense date, and the birth date the Victoria County Clerk's Office can provide that information.


Who is my attorney and can I have his number?

If you know the offense, offense date and the birth date the Victoria County Clerk's Office can provide that information.


I got a ticket.  Where do I pay?

Look on ticket and if information is not provided please contact the department,office or agency ticket is from.


I lost my ticket and don't know where I'm supposed to go.

If you were in the city limits or written by a city office, contact the Municipal Court for that city. Otherwise, contact the Justice of the Peace Court in the area the ticket was written.
